These replaced our original moen faucets, forty-five (45) years old, when our house was built. I knew I wanted Moen because of the proven well built quality that equals longevity without problems. (My old Moens were high polish chrome, single handle and low arc.) I prefer the brushed finish, for a softer look, with less glare, and avoids finger prints or water spots.The main reason for getting new faucets is the high arc design. High arc is a BIG improvement in using the sink, like washing your face and getting a tall glass of water. It is so much easier, and a lot less water is spilled on the counter, particularly around the back of the sink. Not only does this faucet provide a higher arc, (to get under the water), it also projects at least 1/2 inch further out from the faucet base, into the sink.
